Advanced Topics One Day Workshop
The Advanced Long-term Forecasting workshop builds on the Statistically Adjusted End-Use (SAE) Introduction to Forecasting and SAE workshop. In the advanced workshop, attendees will build SAE peak, energy and hourly profile models. Attendees will work with MetrixLT to combine peak, energy and profiles into a consistent 8,760 load forecast. The class will explore developing peak-producing weather for expected and more extreme weather conditions and developing daily normal weather profiles for generating long-term load profiles. This workshop will also examine how MetrixLT can be used to model the load impacts of technologies reshaping loads including solar, electric vehicles, and cold climate heat pumps.
