Q: What was your first job ever?
A: My professional journey began at Itron, where I joined as an apprentice. I started my career as part of the End-to-End (E2E) Outcomes Testing team, where I received hands-on training in end-to-end testing of key Itron products, including AMM, OWOC, IMS, and IEE. This role gave me a strong foundation in product quality validation and system workflows.

Q: What was your first job at Itron?
A: My first role at Itron was as an apprentice, where I received hands-on training and actively contributed to end-to-end outcome testing. I worked on validating the complete E2E data flow of meters across key systems such as AMM, IMS, and IEE. In addition to manual validation, I also worked on automating E2E test cases.

Q: What is your alma mater?
A: I completed my bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).

Q: What is your current role at Itron?
A: I am currently a software engineer at Itron, working as an end-to-end tester on the Distributed Intelligence Outcomes team.

Q: What’s your proudest professional accomplishment at Itron?
A: My proudest accomplishment at Itron is completing my one-year apprenticeship, which led to the opportunity to join the organization as a full-time employee, an important milestone in my professional growth.

Q: Do you have a favorite artist or genre of music that you love to jam to during the workday?
A: I enjoy listening to melody tracks during the workday because they create a soothing and productive atmosphere for me.

Q: What does a typical day at work look like in your role?
A: A typical day in my role involves testing the product end-to-end (E2E) for DI Outcomes, analyzing results, ensuring high-quality validation, and staying up to date on enhancements to support effective testing.

Q: What is one new professional skill you’ve developed since joining Itron?
A: Since joining Itron, I’ve developed strong skills in test case automation using Selenium C#. This has enabled me to create more efficient, reliable automated test suites and contribute to improved overall product quality and delivery timelines.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: Outside of work, I’m always up for an adventure. I love traveling, discovering hidden gems, and trying out local cuisine wherever I go.
